What is LeadMiner?
LeadMiner is an email autoresponder program. LeadMiner automatically subscribes all your leads to a series of custom emails that can contain updated quotes. These emails are sent daily, weekly, or monthly — without you having to do anything. Whenever a prospect views your updated quote you receive an alert, so you know when you’ve got a prospect’s interest.

How do I get started?
To get started with LeadMiner, talk to our Product Specialists about subscribing to a LeadMiner package.

Once your package is set up, you can create your first autoresponder and set a timetable for its delivery. For step-by-step instructions, download the LeadMiner Quick Start Manual.

How do I customize my message?
To customize your message:

  • Log into your BrokerOffice account.
  • Click “Configure Autoresponders”.
  • From the “Autoresponder Dashboard”, click the name of the message you want to edit. If you haven’t created any messages yet, choose “Click to Create Message”.
  • Edit the content of the fields. You can edit the message name, which address the email is sent from, the sender’s name, CC and BCC fields, subject line, email text, and HTML version of the email text.

NOTE: The message name is only used for managing your autoresponders — your recipients will not see it.

  • When you’re finished editing, click “Save and Test.”

How do I change the subject lines of my emails?
To change the subject line of an email:

  • Log into your BrokerOffice account.
  • Click “Configure Autoresponders”.
  • From the “Autoresponder Dashboard”, click the name of the message you want to edit. If you haven’t created any messages yet, choose “Click to Create Message”.

5)  When you’re finished editing, click “Save and Test.”

How do I set the timetable for my emails?

  • Log into your BrokerOffice account.
  • Click “Configure Autoresponders”.
  • From the “Autoresponder Dashboard,” choose “Click to Schedule” next to the name of the autoresponder you want to set a time for.
  • Set the time for the message to be delivered.
  • If you want this message to be sent to a prospect as soon as their lead information is received, click the checkbox next to “Send Immediately”.
  • If you want the message to be delayed before being sent, add a number to “Day Delay”. Add the time (in hours and minutes) that you want the message to be sent.
  •  When you’re finished editing, click “Save and Test”.

 

Does LeadMiner send plain-text or HTML email?
LeadMiner Basic sends text-only email. LeadMiner Pro and LeadMiner Marketer send both plain-text and HTML email.

What’s the difference between plain-text and HTML emails?
Plain-text emails are just text. Plain-text is used by most older email programs, and many web-based email services.

HTML emails use the same language that web pages are written in to provide a richer visual experience for the reader. HTML emails are great for conveying a professional image, but can cause trouble for people whose email services don’t support them.

LeadMiner Pro and LeadMiner Marketer send plain-text and HTML email. Most email programs can distinguish between the two, and automatically display the correct version.

What’s the difference between “cc” and “bcc”?
“cc” stands for “carbon copy” — a term that comes from the days of typewriters. Copies of your email will be sent to any addresses included in this field.
“bcc” stands for “blind carbon copy.” Copies of your email will be sent to any address included in this field — but other recipients will not see that a copy was sent to this address.

How do I preview my messages in LeadMiner?
To preview the autoresponder messages:

  • Log into BrokerOffice.

 

  • Click the “Home” tab, if necessary.
  • Click “Configure Autoresponders”, in the orange bar.

 

  • You now see your “Autoresponder Dashboard”. Click the message you want to preview under “Message Name”.
  • You now see the “Create/Edit an Autoresponder Message” screen. 

NOTE: If you receive an alert box asking “Do you want to display the nonsecure items?”, click “Yes”.

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the “Preview Message” button to view the autoresponder in your browser.

Why don’t my emails have a quote link?
Built-in quotes are only available with the LeadMiner Pro and LeadMiner Marketer packages. If you’re currently subscribing to LeadMiner Basic and would like to include updated quotes, please contact our sales staff to upgrade your package.
