“Standing Room Only” Crowd Raves About Norvax University’s Advanced Sales and Online Marketing Conference
But You Can Be 1st in Line for the Next Conference…
It’s the middle of winter. What could possibly persuade agents and brokers from the Sun Belt to brave Chicago’s notorious cold?
Simple. They wanted to be part of an elite group of only 150 agents and brokers to receive in-depth training from top sales and online marketing leaders in the industry. And the tickets to this inaugural events were so hot that they SOLD OUT in less than 72 hours!
On Tuesday, Feb. 24, Norvax University launched its 2009 Marketing Success Tour with a one-day conference in Chicago. The conference featured 12 separate workshops designed to improve agent sales skills and help producers capture a bigger share of the online marketplace.
Participants were eligible to earn certificates in Advanced Sales Development and Online Marketing Strategies. They also had multiple opportunities to network with conference instructors and fellow top producers.
“Technology and the Internet have revolutionized the way consumers buy health insurance,” said Jeremiah Desmarais, director of Norvax University. “They’ve also radically changed how producers connect with and sell to health insurance shoppers today. We developed our Marketing Success Tour as a response to calls from our client agents and brokers. And to ensure that participants get training that they can immediately use, we brought together proven sales and online marketing experts.”
Jeremiah kicked off the conference with a keynote review of the current health insurance marketing landscape. He discussed specific consumer buying trends and how top producers have flourished — while other agents continue to struggle.
Other featured speakers included:
- John Petrowski, president of the Independent Health Insurance Agent Association (IHIAA). John reviewed the steps agents need to take to build a successful, 6-and 7-figure business, as well as the mindset that drives top producers.
- Rob Liano, national sales trainer. Rob led participants through hands-on training on how to overcome the most common sales objections and how to close with just 1 phone call.
- Rey Villar, online marketing copywriter for Norvax.Rey offered detailed advice on how to create an email marketing campaign on a shoestring budget and use the emerging social media to connect with prospects. He also taught a class on how agents can drive 10X more consumer traffic to their websites.

It’s a low-cost investment that should pay off in greater sales and market share for anyone who attends.”
