Responsibilities

  • Turn business requirements and high-level designs into production functionalities on consumer-facing websites.
  • Design new features and enhancements for consumer-facing websites
  • Maintain technical documentation for all development tasks
  • Ensuring source control and version control for change management for all development tasks
  • Reviewing code of web developers
  • Mentoring web developers on best coding practices and development standards
  • Maintaining, testing and debugging production website
  • Working with Managers to ensure deadlines are met
  • Provide accurate estimates of development in support of project schedules
  • Mange project with dynamic requirements and changing priorities
  • Ability to communicate well in writing and orally required along with being self motivated, dedicated, and reliable.
  • Willingness to learn and be part of a fast-growing department

Job Specifications

  • At Least 4 year of professional experience in client-side development
  • At Least 1 year of professional experience in server-side development
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Expert-level knowledge of XHTML/CSS/JavaScript/JS Frameworks/AJAX
  • Experience with the full SDLC
  • Experience with Java web development (XHTML, JSP's, Servlets, etc.)
  • Experience working with a Common IDE (Eclipse, NetBeans, etc).
  • Experience with version control systems (Subversion preferred)
  • Experience with a relational database (MySQL preferred)
  • Experience with common Java frameworks (Struts, Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
  • Experience working in a small- to mid-size company with an agile development process
  • Experience managing and reviewing a team of developers
  • Experience gathering requirements and performing basic project planning
  • Must have excellent people, verbal, and organizational, project and time management skills.
