Graphic/Web Designer

This position is directly responsible for creating strong designs across multiple business and consumer brands. This involves producing effective marketing and sales materials for a variety of applications, including websites, online marketing materials, direct emails and newsletters and corporate identity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and production of websites, marketing materials, direct email campaigns, advertising and other design support
• Ensure that brand standards are met and make sound design suggestions
• Work with HTML Coder and Copywriter to facilitate teamwork during peak workload periods.

Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Creativity!!!
• Online marketing: 90% of projects will be web related, proven website design skills are a must.
• Organization skills: requires high degree of organization, ability to prioritize tasks appropriately, ability to multi-task.
• Attention to detail:  requires meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexibility: must be able to multi-task and deal with multiple changes to information on a daily basis as well as direction being received from a variety of sources.
• Efficient: must be able to complete tasks on schedule.
• Communication: must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  Must respond effectively to daily requests for information, and solicit information from others.
• Applications: must be proficient with Adobe CS3 Suite on a PC and HTML

Education and Experience:

• 1-3 years experience in a graphic/web design or advertising/direct marketing creative role.
• BFA in design or related from four-year college or university preferred.
